Default Does outside temp probe need calibration?

Hi all, hope you are all well.

The outside temp probe (the one behind the front bumper) has been miss reading and flagging a fault in VCDS for the last couple of years. It's been a low priority for me but I have eventually gotten around to fixing it.

I replaced the sensor with a genuine OEM part but the reading now seems to be stuck at -60 deg. Consequently the air con has stopped working.

So, do I need to do some kind of calibration?

Thanks all

Default

Not as far as I know but I have seen couple cases where conductor in wire is broken just by the sensor plug.
