Sounds like the 3.7 brings money home?
Stop bragging :-) Ahh... I'm not jealous. Not at all. I found another way to escape high bills. My insurance company won't harrass me with bills anymore, they have become taciturn. My complaint something like that: Dear insurance, thank you for reminding me of checking my online bills. I am in the habit of checking bills at random and only occasionally. I don't wish to get concerned with your bills more often than it is inevitable. Please use the direct debit mandate you have and stop sending me email reminders. Thank you very much for improving your customer friendliness. I haven't received a single demand to read my bills anymore ever since.

Nice one Matt. That’s not a bad price at all. I pay £365 for mine, nice area, 11 yrs NCD. I thought my renewal was ok. Now, not so much!

I am wondering what my renewal in June is going to bring for my D3 3.7, last year it was £199 fully comp with business use and max NCD.

Slightly off topic, but a good news story about insurance costs for a change!
 I just called Privilege (who also insure the S8) to add our daughter temporarily to the Volvo as she is visiting us over the Bank Holiday and going house hunting. Added for a few days, breakdown cover (also with Privilege) extended for her, NO CHARGE! Not even an admin fee!  Only minor constraint is a higher accidental damage excess while she's driving, no idea why and they didn't explain.

Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.). 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation".  (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!
