Default MK4 Golf immobilised

Is there anyone in the Portsmouth area that could help either bypass or code out the immobliser on a mk4 golf?

A friend has been pulled over by base security for a check, everything ok so told to leave and now totally immoblised. It has happened before but has always started if using the spare key and them main key again. Tried all sorts and nothing still. VW won't give the SKC for it and i don't know how to retrieve it.

HELP

You sure it's just not the keys screwed up? Simple paring with VAGCOM should get you going with a new key?

You need login to pair new keys. To get login you need VAG commander or similar tool.

I really don't know Doc, I'm not all that sure about VAGCOM yet i'm worried about sdcrewing something right up. I've watched an online tutorial on key pairing that’s as technical as I get with the laptop apart from scanning for faults. Matey was adding another key so assume the procedure is the same.

VW have been outstanding in their helpfulness by refusing to give the code out and advised that the owner take the car into them. They were not so helpful in advising how to get a non-starting car 200 miles to them, although they suggested taking it to Portsmouth Audi but still couldn’t tell me how I get it there as the car is in the Naval Base and they’re not allowed in there.

Week 3 and the cars not been crushed, yet!

They do not even see the code themselves it is handled in software and VAS-PC retrieves it from VW servers operators do not see the code like in old days.

VAG tacho or VAG commander will give you login code to pair new keys.

Or you can do immo-off in ECU sending ECU in post.

I haven't a clue what i was doing or what i did apart from click on stuff and Immo light stopped flashing and it came alive like a lovely bag of clunky spanners (derv) well after a jump as it was flat " Just like a Golf "
