Default Keyless lock button not working Help !

drivers door not locking on the handle button
is this a door strip down ?
anyone done this repair ?
and whats needed ?

Its a new door handle (painted) and door strip to replace it, not a horrendous job but not fun either.

oh, looks like a small push button switch on top of handle
surely thats replaceable ?
but if not then the whole thing it has to be

are they all the same handle on all 4 doors ?

anybody got a duff one ??
im going to try and replace the button..

I have the same issue but it's intermittent. A good soak with WD-40 works for a while!!

'09 D3 S8 - Most of the bells and whistles (B&O, Audi Exclusive brown interior and exterior paint, soft close, ACC etc) de-flapped manifold!

Duff door handle = next thing you're battery will be flat. Don't replace the car battery, just lock the doors with the remote until the handle is fixed

Not a serviceable item sadly, it will as mentioned only get worse and in some cases keep the kessy module awake and suck the battery down overnight.

They are the same handles with the drivers one having a different part number because its had a plug hole removed for the key barrel.

Personally if your getting one done, buy another or 4 so you have them in stock already painted.

Since I have owned mine all four have been replaced and I have another spare for the inevitable failure of one.
