Default Git Fekker Barstewards!

Typical!

Some bloody neds hanging about the local sports centre decided to go on a window breaking spree this afternoon (knowing there was no CCTV covering the car park).

Missus came out to find this....

6 blows from a hammer of some type and still not through, they must have been mightily upset, just glad they didn't take out their frustrations elsewhere on the car. Police were telling me that's the third one within about 100 yards that afternoon.

Wasn't even anything in the cars worth taking, they were just breaking windows!

Complete and utter ****s!

Gutted for you, although as you say it does show the strength of the double glazing and it could have been much worse...

A pi55er indeed, but good to see the double-glazed windows living up to my expectations after my highly scientific experiments in the lab....

(aka I beat some twin pane to death with a hammer to see how tough it was)

Also a good job they didnt do the front or rear screens, they're a real pain in contrast to replace, even if the insurance cover it, its seems to be a bit random as to how well the windscreen guys fit them from what we've found..

People these days, such mindless actions. But if they brought a hammer it sounds like it wasn't such a random action...

A kicking would be too good for them .

I hope it doesn't prove too costly to repair.

It might be time for the A8VOC. The Vigilante Owners Club. I'm sick of these little pr**ks damaging other peoples' property. It makes it even worse that it's an 8.

Hope you get it sorted at minimum cost. I know how you feel.

Hope you get it sorted easily Physche

6 Hits and they couldn't smash it, I would loved to have seen their reaction as to why this old Audis window wouldn't smash

Those windows can crack easily but actually smashing them is another matter. If it's not covered by your insurance do let me reassure you that it's a piece of pi to replace. I replaced both my drivers side ones a couple of months ago and it was about an hour of sweaty swearing for the first one and half an hour ish for the rear. Any questions feel free to pm me.

Ian has many replacements and it's cheaper than the bonnet or door skins getting it.

PS Job does not allow me to make statements about castration, eugenics or anything that may involve the application of a soldering iron to balls on the internet so I can only say that karma is a beautiful thing.
