A interesting proposition for someone. Yes, its dirty and hard to see what state the bodywork is in, but it does seems to have a full (?) complement of red leather (cue: extended leather pack debate ). Gearbox issue would need some investigation and then some work (F125 replacement to full gearbox - take your pick) but fully fettled it could be a nice car.

That interior... what the f*ck were Audi thinking even offering this as an option.

Its definitely a marmite interior, I couldn't live with one but others love it.

It's the red steering wheel that makes me feel poorly, I can handle the rest, but I'd need a glass of milk and a lie down.

Anyone who's seen the red leather 'in the flesh' knows it's not as OTT as it always appears in photos. My preference is for the cars that have a little less red (the FEs were certainly a 'moving feast' as to their exact spec), but Stephen's car (tin tin) has a red interior and it looks the dog's whatnots!

Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .
Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

Actually you are right, well reminded. A friend a few years ago had a TT with a red interior, assuming it was the same shade of red, it was actually quite nice, although it was only the seats.

If the car needs a gearbox it's still cheap isn't it?

Providing the rest is ok I guess
