Sent messages ????
Just curious guys if any of you could explain this.
When I send a private message, why would it not show up in my 'sent messages' folder ? I know I have sent messages before and the recipients have received them, but again they have never shown up in the sent folder ! My inbox has plenty of messages in it ! I suppose its genuinely not that important, but it would be nice to know my message has been sent. Cheers !

It's an option, you have to "tick the box".

Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

No, when you send a message (not look for it when it's not there).

Duh..... silly me ! I just assumed a sent message would automatically go into the sent items folder. It turns out you have to change the settings - under "Additional Options" below - to get the system to keep copies of sent messages.

Think its a one off setting, only ever set mine once and it saves all sent messages
