engine coolant G12+
Hi I need to top up my engine coolant as it well below the minimum level, the manual states G12+ plus to be used but Halfrauds don't sell it ggrrr
question is do I have to use the G12+ ? the selector on their site points to G40 feel a bit hesitant mixing them any help would be great thanks? car: 3.0 tdi 2006 |

Yes Halfords sell it as Comma G40 for a ridiculous price as it is ready mixed but dearer than Amazon's concentrate..
The VW spec is TL774-F for G12+ or TL774-G for G12++ Both are suitable. G12++ has stronger anti-corrosion than G12+ and was standard from 2005.. You can also get G12++ online click and collect at Eurocarparts and GSF and online at Amazon. https://www.wolflubes.com/EN_EU/Blog...d-coolant.aspx Last edited by snapdragon; 1st April 2018 at 11:24 AM. |

As long as its the same colour (ie red) it's compatible so no need to remove the old stuff
