Default Front brake discs...

Looking to replace my front discs soon; got a bit of a squeak at low speed and also look pretty worn.

Now I have noticed that when giving the car some beans the front brakes do get REALLY hot. Like smoke emitting hot.

So, I was thinking of using some drilled / grooved discs to help with cooling.

Only problem, I cant seem to find any, only for the older A8.

Any ideas where to get some from?? And also what pads? OEM or go with something else??

Grooved and drilled discs are to help expel brake dust more easily under heavy breaking so that it does not get stuck between pad and disc and impair braking. I don't think it makes much if any at all difference to cooling. If you have some oil and dirt on brakes it will start smoking at 200C-250c and that's nothing for brake discs. If you get the discs glowing in the dark 600C+ then you need to start worrying. Anyway you might want to check that calipers/pistons are not binding.

Tuck, send me a message with your VIN number and exactly what you need and state if you want drilled or plain discs and cheap or good stuff.
