Default 2001 3.7 40V QS, tank range

Can anyone help.

Assuming the car is driven on a steady run, what sort of range can I expect from a full tank of fuel in my 3.7 QS 40V maintaining around 120kmh.

Reason for asking, I'll hopefully be driving the car from Santander (north spain) to Estepona (south spain) in June, around 670 miles each way and I am trying to work out my fuel budget to get across spain and back.

Is 450-500 miles realistically possible given the 90L tank.

Not sure how much better on fuel the 3.7 is compared to the 4.2 but i'm seeing around 450 miles to a full tank if i'm carefull. Start ups and short journeys to work and back kill that

Tell me about the short journeys, I need to get a bike or walk to work I think. I'll work on the 450 assumption, and go from a full tank arriving in Santander. Petrol in spain is currently just over £1 per litre, so I'll leave filling up until I am in spain.

I was getting about 500-550 on a cruise in my PF at about 80.. seems slightly worse in my D3, but I'm beginning to wonder if I have a MAF issue.

Interesting, so depending on driving style it maybe possible to almost make if the whole way on a single tank and a little of the next. At 75 mph or thereabouts the 3.7 FL with its 5 speed box is humming along at just about 2K RPM.
