Default Blood Sacrifice ???

Hi There,

Just did the front brake pads on my D3 A8. I've done a lot of pads and discs and probably did them on this some years back, but it's been a while.

The Drivers side was really awkward and had me struggling, but finally went together OK. I *HATE* car electrical connectors, they should be simple, but rarely are.

The Passenger side within a couple of minutes of having the wheel off, i slipped with a screwdriver and cut myself. After that the job was so simple and about a 3rd of the time of the Drivers side.

Always seems the way, I struggle with a mechanical job, cut myself and then it all goes easy. I'm not sure if the pain sharpens the mind of the car requires a blood sacrifice ???

I do wonder if I just nicked myself starting out it would be quicker

I think the rush of adrenaline definitely sharpens the mind, and of course the car is now satisfied you're worthy so it will capitulate
