Moved my van today to make it easier to work on!
But which is the Beauty and which is the Beast

2000 A8 FL QS 4.2 (with RNS-E - Nice) (Engine poorly so sold on to be brought back by someone who has the time)

Did someone mention rugs?

I'm not sure i can ever remember anyone refering to the Type 2 as a beast, that 1.6 air cooled lump isn't exactly rip your face off in every gear, or has it been modified

Does it need much work mate?

Depends on your view point as to which is the beast

Regards much to do, where do I start......

Weld in a complete off side rear lower quarter (have done the near side already)
Patch a few holes
Re-wire
Redo all the brake pipes
New shox all round

Thats about it I think....

Urrhhh i hate wiring, i have a Land8 to do at some point.

The rest is not too bad though buddy, so much character
