It comes out of the same bunch of cables as the cable for the nearside headlamp and I have taken the bumper, airbox and headlamp out and still can't see where it should go ................ bollocks.

Cheers

I can't seem to get a hang of all nearside/offside but if it's on the airbox side then I think it will go to double temperature switch in radiator.

It did - just after I posted it had another look from the top and could see it - doh

All fixed up - everything put back - went for a spin and guess what........

went up to 120 degrees, but no coolant loss.
Airlock or thermostat?

Cheers Steve.

Ordered a new thermostat and rubber seal - should be here on Thursday.
Having fun with the fan though - I cheated last time and managed to get a socket in near the fan so I could remove the whole engine stabiliser arm!
Socket won;t work this time and I cannot undo the bolt (I know it undoes clockwise...).
