Still not there though - bloody faulty parking brake light has not come on

So list of issues and appears to be getting longer every day........

1. Parking brake fault light
2. Blower (fan) does not work
3. Headlight level fault light
3. Kessy not recognising the key(s) so keyless entry/start doesn't work
4. Auto close boot very rarely works when closing (needs many manual slams)
5. Suspension groans - suspect control arm bushes.
6. Drivers floor wet through yesterday

So - not quite in love with it yet - do I spend a few grand to resolve these or just get rid a buy a Focus or something (my heart says spend, my head says get rid....... - might sell it as spares or repair - ......)

What would you lot do?

Well, maybe I'm not the right one to ask, I'm embarrassed how much I spent so far to fix my D2, entire new suspension (except control arms), new front subframe, new anti-roll bar, new power steering pump, cam belt and aux belt, and other bits. Lets just say I spent as much if not more than I paid for the car. I'm clearly nuts
However my car is a project car and hopefully only a few more mods will make it really fast and just how I want it to look/sound.
I thought about selling it and recovering some cash and just buying something decent like a Honda Accord with the 2.4 engine for around 2k, but I just cant part with a D2, its just so much fun to drive.

I have decided if I do replace it in the future it has to be something really amazing like a C63 or a Tesla model S.

I agree there comes a point with any car where you have to give up on a car.
Enjoy hunting for a new one, I think its fun looking for any car even the small less powerful ones, I really had fun looking for a old Corrola for my brother.

Rather not be searching for a car but I know what you mean - have now posted the car in the for sale area.
