It says permanent error, electrical fault.
I think VCDS shows same code 003 for Malfunctioned units.
Manual would be ideal here. If its not working at all, how about if you start adaptation and see if that gets you somewhere.
When module is completely DEAD or driver is lost, you wouldn't be able to connect to it at all, like it's not even installed, you can, so a bit of good news I think

No joy. The manual dont tally to the software version.
Just downloaded the latest version (5.5) butcannot fathom how to code.
Cant find anything on the interweb either
