Default audi s8 d2 10x20 all round

hi all, I'm currently running a staggered set up on my audi s8 d2 using 8.5x20 fronts and 10x20 rears et35,looking to run 10x20 all round, heard it has been done with no issues, but what soze tyres do I use,or do I use the same as the rears now for the fronts at 275/30/20? I don't mind having the stretch look,as I am in the process of getting air ride fitted to the car,so want the low look with clearance as well.

any input be great or anyone who has done this be much appreciated

If they are all 275 30 20s then you will have no issues with the quattro as rolling radius will be the same front and back so I would go with that.
Im not sure if D3's can take 10" wheels at the front my best guess would be yes but on D2's you start to get clearance issues.

I think your best tire set up would be a stretched 255/35/20 or 245/35/20 up front on a 20x10 and keeping the 275/30/20 on the rear 20x10 or mounting the 255/35/20 or 245/35 out back as well. I was thinking of doing the same with my D2 S8 and having the 275/30/20 all around with 20x10 but my car is lowered and it would be a headache. The rolling diameter of the different size tires would be fine as they are very close.

Did you take an pictures of the test fit?

Agree with CLKFAN

255/35/20 is perfect,

I had that on my a8 D2 with KW2's and 10X20 ET 35

I have plans for the same setup except my rims are ET40. That leaves me with 5 mm offset which gives better outside clearance. Right?

I put the new tires on today. I purchased Dunlop Maxx GT 255/35-20 ZR. In fact the only tire brand available in this size where I do my shopping. It has been an increased demand for this size lately they said. This size gives a stretched look on the 20x10 RH NAJ rims, but I found it easy to accept this as I just love these rims. I have ET40 and still the rubber is slightly outside the front fender, but totally acceptable. ET35 will go even 5 mm further out so I'm happy with my ET40 rims.
The tire has a rim protection profile which fluctuates with the rim itself, hardly any practical protection but it looks ok. It leaves an open crack due to the stretch. Overall I'm satisfied. The handling is very accurate and firm with this setup(sport suspension).

See for yourselves!
