Raaaah that's sh!t

Looks like similar damage to what happened with me a couple of months ago. Someone scraped right across the n/s/r corner of mine in a Tesco car park.

argh thats a real shame - sorry to see
My D2 was scraped on the rear bumper when it was parked up on the drive by somebody pulling onto the kerb to turn around and couldnt be bothered to stop and reverse but rather just guessed that things were ok and they werent
They didnt have the honesty or gumption to own up to what they had done either leaving me to sort it out. . . it just beggars belief sometimes. . . .

Thanks mate, I've got her being assessed by the insurance company tomorrow morning so they can see if its financially viable or a total loss - WTF? I laughed down the phone, they must be kidding...

Hopefully she will be sorted soon, its horrible walking to the car everyday and seeing what the old boy did to her

Perhaps some of these 'old farts' feel about their own personal self worth in the same way you feel about your car. But then a car is just a car and a person, old or young is a person.
Yes, I am an old fart.

Default you doddery old **** robert

im 62 this year and feel like my driving is still sharp
yesterday i went to see an old friend 80 years old
he was busy polishing his 14,000 mile 25 year old merc and his daily drive an Audi A2
both cars were unmarked

not everybody is the same at an older age

i feel for you 1781cc i too would be gutted
and have been before
in 2007 a woman opened a door into my 2 week old A6 and put a big crease in it, i went ballistic, it was a 2 door clio with a broken door strap
just my bloody luck that day
i never park near a 2 door old car ever aagain

I know plenty of old guys who are knocking about on the roads who drive better than young people, I don't mean to blanket, but you must admit that there comes a point where reflexes diminish unless they are kept in check, this could happen at at 50, 70, whenever, but what is odd is that something that has been attained when you are say, 17, serves as a pass for the rest of your life.

My father in law was a truck driver all his life, he's retired and now 73, lovely guy, but his driving now isn't great, he's one of those that does 40 in a 30 and 40 in a 60 - reactions are super slow, but he still has his Advanced Drivers badge on the car, magazine regularly through the post and loves wearing his logo'd fleece!

The old boy that drove into my car didn't seem to care, thats where my anger is, I mentioned before that "there is no reason why getting old means being useless"

That still stands

I am hoping to be old one day too
