That's interesting, are you talking about the back doors because I had the front door latch out to see if I could easily get at the switch which I couldn't but there was no drilling or difficult work to doing the front door latch.

This was when retro fitting soft close on the rear ... when you say latch do you mean the entire soft close door latch with orange covered cable to door card ?
How did you remove it ? I'm curious now |

Have you had a chance to do this yet? I need to strip my drivers door in the next few weeks so was going to get a look at it then.
I don't fancy paying £130 odd on a new motor. Are they the same part for each door or different part numbers? Might try and get a second hand one |

I haven't fitted mine yet, I didn't fancy paying 130 either but I didn't fancy paying twice for a dodgy unit.
The items are not really serviceable if they were I would have, so I ponied up and bought a new one which is waiting to be fitted when I summon the energy.
