Default Drivers door wont open, linkages?

Hi! In the cold my drivers door wont open anymore. Sounds like the linkage inside is loose/snapped. Is there any way to remove the door trim and access the insides without cutting it open? Or in any other way open the door?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I presume you can get into the car through the other doors?
If so then you have to remove the door card and window subframe to get to the lock mechanism. You will probably need the service manual docs in the Tech Dump.
Edit: General Body Assembly Interior Manual (for the door cards etc) and General Body Assembly Exterior Manual for removing the door subframe and the lock mechanism.

I had this with one of mine at the weekend too. I locked it and unlocked it a couple of times and it opened. I think something might just be poorly adjusted or worn. IIRC the outer handle is on a threaded rod.

Will the drivers door open from the inside?

Thanks for the help! My neighbour managed to get it open from the outside. Yesterday it would not budge from any side, now only the outer one work so guess I have to take the door panel off to see whats up!
No wonder something freezes stuck when temperatures swing from -9 to +5 and back in less than 12 hours.

I have had this problem a couple of times the past days. But I could open the passenger door easily, and thus open the door from the inside. After that it was ok for the day.
Temperatures below freezing here as well.
