Default Fuel Pump Signal???

Interesting experience today, I went out today for some stuff, came home for about 2 hours then went out again, only this time I backed out then coasted like I normally do for about 50ft but before I got to the junction the engine just died.

I tried numerous times to restart with only as much as a cough and splutter.

So I pushed the car back to the house, then tried it again and she only went and bloody started.

I left it running while i got the laptop and scanned it and got the below, anyone had similar problem before.

I will have check over the wiring when I can but for now the cars starting and running fine

I'd suggest your fuel pump may be on its way out, get readings of fuel pressure whilst giving it some throttle and see how the pump is behaving, if your loosing a bit of pressure it's usually a sign of a weak pump.

Typical ambiguous answer from Ross Tech / Audi, Signal line faulty go and replace the fuel pump.

I will see if I can log fuel pressure.

From my understanding the fault code is one that is logged when it senses the pump has failed, not a wiring issue, bit like a fault signal.
