Default Autobox Shifter Pall Upgrade

Attachment 21561

What do you think of this shifter for the D3?

I have messaged the seller - thinking the 2 groove version may fit with a shim for the plastic peg at the top.

Looks quite nice compared to the bog standard ones in the D3, but are they available in a RHD version?

It looks decent but quality of items on alliexpress can very poor.
Would an OEM shifter from a 2012 onward Q7 be a decent/genuine upgrade?

Aw, I forgot about the RHD difference. The seller is investigating the fitting to the D3 though.
Late Q7 and D4 are quite a different design....

friend, i am the garageman, I saw the picture you sent, this is not like Audi's transmission, it is a bit like Buick, or probably the oldest Audi transmission. If it is the oldest Audi transmission, our gear shifter is not suitable for it.Because the pole of the oldest Audi transmission is completely different from the pole of the current Audi. hope you can understand. have a nice day
祝你今天愉快

The Q7 model part I was suggesting is the 4L model from 2011/2012 to 2014. It is quite similar to the D3 and the shift lever may swap over without much modification. The Q7 one you posted the image of is a current 4M model from 2015 onward. It looks totally different to a D3.
