There are no codes stored. Left and right are in series and ultimately link to ground and a pin on the instrument cluster connector. If the wiring is beyond repair, you can find the pins in the wiring diagram and jumper them. This is on my to-do list. I paired back the wires to where they amalgamate with the ABS loom to no avail.

I had the same issue on mine.
Never any fault codes and the odd warning would pop up. Bought new pads, genuine cable holders on the back of the calipers, cleaned the plugs and bolted it all back up. Been perfect ever since.
