Default Front wheels “hopping” in full lock

Evening all, yesterday I ventured in to town and whilst ascending a multi storey carpark I noticed that the front wheels were “hopping” or jolting whilst taking tight turns on full lock, almost as if I was driving on cobbled roads.....very horrible sensation because it feels like the front wheel us about to fall off.

I thought it was due to the steep, tight turns and the odd angles, but using the car again this morning on level ground I could feel the sensation again.

All suspension arms have been replaced within 3k mikes. Could this be wheel bearings? They’re not groaning or grumbling though

I've noticed that occasionally over the years, just assumed it was pushing the geometry beyond it's smooth operating limits on uneven surfaces.

Maybe it’s an Irish Green Pearl/ beige thing?

Surely it’s not normal though? My tracking is also good, so it’s not that.

I wonder if the wider than normal wheel/tyre combo is causing this? Went from 8x18 to 9x20.

Happens less on the 18's and more on the 20's.

I would image its the diff locking and both wheels turning at the same speed. Obviously the diff should allow the outside wheel to turn faster and stop the hopping.
