Good spot Jim, my error, now corrected.

Please convey our deepest Sympathies to Lyn and family on behalf of the whole a8parts team.
Condolences.

It's also sad that there is no opportunity for a wake due to the current Covid restrictions. It's important to remember people and funerals are very impersonal at the moment.

In the last 6 months, we've buried Dad (heart), Mum (Covid), 2 x Aunts (Covid), 1 x Uncle (Covid) and our neighbour passed on Tuesday after a 7 week coma (Covid) - she was 54.

A question has been asked about dress on the day.
If this is designated at any time, I will let you know.
Personally, I am planning on a grey suit, with a mackintosh (raincoat) if seriously inclement weather on the day.
With due respect to Mark's personal beliefs at the same time as saying farewell I want to celebrate his life.

Lyn has asked me to thank everyone for the wonderful cards that she has received. Especially for the beautiful thoughts, Thank You All.

Lyn actually said, "I nearly told Mark what you said", it had made her forget for a few seconds.

My experience is that you keep trying to tell them things. Strange silly things make you forget for very short periods. I woke up to a cuppa brought by Gwen the other day; then I woke up and realised it was a dream.

If you guys aren’t comfortable with this, I have set up a few of these before, so I’m happy to set it up if required. Just let know - and get me a photo of Mark (and his car, if possible).

Thanks Jim - and Mike - let's pick this up tomorrow, as it's getting a bit late now to sort this tonight, and we'll see each other just after lunchtime before the service.

What a lovely service. Thank you Ray/Stephen for organising the links.

I'm left with the distinct impression Mark would have approved of this online webcast setup, although there is something about turning up and being there to show support to the nearest and dearest that is definitely missing.

Thank you to those who have made the journey today on all our behalves, and I for one will be making a donation to the charity once setup.

RIP Mark. You will be missed.

Amen. Couldn't have said it better. Very moving, especially with "The show must go on".
