Gearbox needed
Hello all,
I hope someone out there can help me out. My 2002 S8's gearbox has died, forward clutch drum has failed. Does any one have or know of a FBG gearbox for sale? Thanks in advance Robert

The amount of labor involved in removing yours, sourcing a used unit and installing, then doing a precautionary service (oil, filter, gasket etc) makes it a risky venture. There's no way of telling how long a used tranny would last.

Thanks for the replys, i have been to Mackies and quoted me 4200 including VAT pounds to rebuild it,Ouch. Chester Auto transmissions was 3100 including VAT. I will give A4Audi a ring and see how much they charge. Regards Robert Last edited by cosworth330; 5th December 2011 at 05:08 PM.
