We’re now at Applecross -we’re doing the pass tomorrow. Weather not so good today, but here are a few more piccies from today’s leg

2002 Final Edition S8. Ebony black with Silver Grey leather and myrtle wood trim.
Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .
Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

Good stuff, just watch out for the motorhomes, had some interesting experiences squeezing the eight past the ones I met going over the pass.

Totally worth it though.

Done the route numerous times long before it was named the NC500, the roads were peaceful, quiet and enjoyable back then but today's traffic on single tracks with passing places isn't much fun. Wouldn't recommend the route during the peak summer season

Link to some more pics, giant pothole claimed one of my front wheels

And I left my locking wheel nut key after changing the wheel..huge thanks to Maria (A8 Parts)yet again for saving the day as she worked out from a picture which one I needed

Cracking scenery. Really liked the area in image 671. There are so many possibilities for photos at that one spot.
