Default Hope not too many D2 owners take advantage of this.

As the title suggests.I hope they don't.whilst I applaud the initiative I hope ailing D2's Don't just get scrapped rather than repaired or at least broken for spares.

Hmm, if i could hand in my old A6 for £3000 credit, then resell that credit for £2000 for someone who could use it and then use those £2000 towards my next polluting car I would be all in

surely this will just start a rush to buy qualifying, barely roadworthy bangers and then presenting them for the refund?

There will probably minimum qualifying ownership time like previous scrappage deals, something like 90 days or whatever it was and a valid or recently expired MOT and Tax
