Default I've gone & done it, Spent money

Well gang, I really have spent some pennies.
I have bought an A8 4.2 TDI on a 56 plate.
The sad bit is that I have given it away.

OK only my son Craig but I'm still a nutter.

Might be able to talk him into joining our Forum.
I'll make him post photos when he signs up.

I think if it's early '06 ... Before 23rd March 2006 it is capped at £315.

Congratulations and commiserations Ray. Or perhaps just congratulations, as you seem to have found a cunning way to feed your obsession while appearing to be altruistic. Neat!
Pict's. You know how it goes

First Registered early @07, so 500 odd quids. But not my problem

I'm on the case though for him to join the forum. Some of you already know him. He attended a Xmas meet with me some time back and of course those of you who were good enough to join us at Gwen's farewell bunfight.

I will be changing my photo when we get time to wash both and use the camera.

Congratulations - have you driven it? If so how does it compare to the 3.0TDI?

Ambling along at 40 and putting the boot in does give you an impressive kick up the backside.
Just like the 3.0 but a bit more.
I went to see it and did the decision making, well it was my money. I actually threatened to keep it and let him make do with the 3.0. Could not do that 'cos mine was bought by Gwen as a present to me, so I'm afraid it will be with me for ever.
Loads of DTCs on it but mainly due to a duff battery. Main problem is ACC not working. We will have to look in to that.
