Default MMI Panel & Display

What would cause the MMI panel to be dead and the screen not to pop up?

Fuses appear ok and MOST loop is complete.

I had this with increasing frequency, mostly at start up, when my battery was on its way out. Maybe that?

Stuck buttons on the MMI control panel can cause this.

The buttons all seem fine, nothing stuck.

What controls the mmi panel and display?
Cause they work with the ignition off.

So I'm clutching at straws but would a faulty/broken onboard power supply control unit cause it to pack up but if it did, what else would break?

Fixed it.

Unplug the head and gateway. Plugged it back in.

Thank you.
