Wee button
) ,Any 1 any idea what this button is, its in the glovebox next to the CD player. Also my MMI screen has went blank around the same time but don't know if the 2 are connected

No idea.. Looks like an aftermarket thing. Have you tried pushing it again to see if the screen comes on?
Free this afternoon or later tonight if you want me to stick VCDS on it or have a poke.

Definitely not OEM; I'd start by asking the guy you bought it from:

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Maybe it's a button to enable and disable video in motion by turning on and off the gala feed? Easily checked I guess. Only other thing I can think of is a bespoke garage door opener or perhaps a button for disabling the car
