Immobilizer

I have a problem when the car it starts it cuts out straight away.
The immobilizer light does not go out.I went to a normal garage who plugged it in did a re-set.This worked for a day,then back to the same problem.
I then took it a Audie dealer who then told me it would be a 1000 euros to repair the problem.
I just want to dis-arm the immobilizer Audie say they can not do this ,is it possible ???
