All fault codes have been cleared and have not returned, only one which I think may cause concern are the lambda / cat related ones, should I be worried about these as they do say intermittent.

I'm sure this is the same as the one I get every now and then;

16814 - Catalyst System; Bank 2: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0430 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

It brings on the engine management light. I've had it in at the garage and it's apparently a sensor after the cat to measure how efficient it is.
The garage said they see this on cars without genuine Audi replacement cats. The car just passed an MOT and the emissions were all fine.
I reset the error code and it generally doesn't re-appear for a month or two.
Hope this helps.

That handy to know, MOT is due soon here. I wonder if the codes are old, since I had no engine management light on before the codes were cleared. The engine management light is working fine as it comes on when you first turn on the ignition.

Cruise control, seems to have a mind of its own and from what I have read is a common problem. I dont really use it anyway, so its not something I'll miss.

Don't quote me, but this is how I think it's going. Your showing the initial symptons of lambda faliure on Banks 1 and 2 on the pre cat side. Only intermitant at the moment but may be indicative of an issue with the cats.

If that the case, then it is possible that the lambda after the cat is using the pre cat reading to check that the cat is doing its job.

Therefore you may not have issues with the cats or the post cat lambas, just the pre cat lambas on bank 2.

Bank one is an indication of Cats not doing its job properly and may be the cat.

Start with the pre cat Lambas being checked, then check post cat Lambas then if they show no faults get an emmisions test done.

As you have cleared the faults, and they were intermitent, give it a good blast on quality fuel (V Power) and see if they return.

Cheap petrol does not help these high strung beasties.
