Almost on the road (PDC question)

After a long time (nearly two years) my D2 S8 is up and running: everything that can be replaced has been replaced, I have even had the famed gearbox oil change done.

I gave the car a treat in the form of two resprayed bumpers: the front was from my car and when replaced the sensors worked just fine.

The rear was from A8 parts and cam with it's own sensors, so I changed the wiring loom over, reattached the multiway plug but kept the original Sensors and having replaced it non of the sensors seem to work, front or rear.

Have I forgotton something or do we think the rear sensors are dodgy?

I've had a few run ins with the parking sensors, but they've never given up totally front and back. A VagCom should give you some clues - have a look on the register and see if there's a kind soul close to you who might help out
