Default D2 Front parking sensor connector location

Had the cambelt changed on my car, and the car delivered back to me this evening.

Everything is fine, except for one thing that became apparent when I got home and selected Reverse to park on the drive. Result one short high pitched squeel and a flashing parking sensor switch.

They were working fine before it went in, so I guess when the bumper was put back the connector was missed and not plugged back in, so all I need do is find the elusive connector and plug it back again.

So folks, where is the connector for the front sensors on the bumper.

Thanks for that, mines an FL as well.

I'll check the foglights and washers, and if they don't work then I know the problem is the connector. I do have VCDS as I used it on my previous car, so I'll plug in and read any fault codes once I have worked out where the diagnostics port is on this car.

After testing the fog lights and seeing them also not working I dropped by the place that did the work and they removed the bumper again this morning and sorted the connector. They had plugged it in, but it must have been slightly loose. They even gave me some cash to pay for the petrol to drive to them and back again as an apology for not doing it right the first time.

That is good customer service, you will probably go back again after that, wish some other places saw the bigger picture.

Glad to hear it's sorted.
