Back today!!
Less than £4K - sounds like a good buy indeed

Shown the wife and its on her list (she is having the Focus to begin with, then see what happens after a few months - she also fancies a Nissan Figaro , but refuses to drive either the VW Van or the A8 as she says they are too big)

Keep us posted once you get the TT back

Right here we go, pictures though not the best quality!

I replaced all discs and pads all round on the car and this one was an absolute pig. I kept checking it and it all seemed correct, I could only assume I had damaged the caliper winding it back in? After 2 hours I got sick of it and then noticed the disc guard. It just happenned to be scraping the disc every so slightly causing the noise. Pushed it back and it's gone. Happy days!!!! Also the bolts for holding the disc on is an M6 20mm for reference incase you need to know and it's a machine screw 1 hour spend drilling the snapped on out

Airbag module needed replacing. I got to this one, disconnected the battery and replaced it. One plug, coded it to the car, erased all faults and airbag light went out. Big big big sigh of relief!!!

Faults this car had them all! And a nice bodge of the clock spring. So I put a new clock spring into the car from the TT 3.2 convertible and the horn works again. Yey! Unfortunately for some reason I can't calibrate the steering angle sensor.... I think cos it is off an 04 plate car they have a seperate sensor? Anyhoo will swap this again later...

Steering wheel all back on properly with the cluster.

Steering column needed a bit of bearing grease on the joints as it was clicking when cold. Sorted

Driver side seatbelt bolted back in, it runs all behind the strut brace you see in the picture, feeds through a metal loop at the top and out of the door card.

Passenger side one done.

Rear card on, all with push clips. You just have to pull! With all the seats out.

All the interior fitted in. Car also has ISOFIX fitted so bonus

New wheels on, see the M3 in the garage poor thing

Shiny genuine wheels with brand new centre caps and tyres

BAM engine. Bog standard apart from a custom remap by meeeeeeeeeee! Running an N75J valve.....

Car complete just needed a polish!

Quick clean and all done MOT done, tax done and the missus absolutely loves it!!!

Enjoy
