A8 D3 4.2 ECU And Component Protection.
Hello all!
Just a quick question here - does the ECU of the 4.2 V8 D3 (BFM) fall under component protection? Or is it just the IMMO ECU that comes under CP? Any help gratefully received.

I believe the engine ECU is free from CP

Thanks bud! Happily the immobiliser is not built into the instrument cluster, so it's either an IMMO defeat, or run the immobiliser ECU.
Hopefully it's free from CP too.
