Default Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible 2.0T

Well this is truly a marmite car. But I love Saab's. They are just so unique in styling (Well used to be) and 2.0T engine that was just a turbo monster.

Yes it has skuttle shake, yes it had unpinnings from the Vectra. But the wheel design, the shape and the whole thing.

I love this car, I brought it for £1300. It's running a healthy 275bhp at the moment on fairly stock components.

It's the summer cruiser, but love it!

Has to be the original 900 soft top for me, for the authentic Swedish feel and insane heater! My parents had a full fat 900 turbo soft top (all of 175bhp from a turbo'd 2 litre!) which sounded awesome with an almost subara off beat exhaust note

everything rattled with the roof down but one of my most memorable drives ever was London to cheddar all on country roads in the middle of winter with the roof down! Had to stop and peel some layers off as was getting cooked lol

Very jealous of the roof mechanism on the newer version - much more theatre than the pram hood on our old one

Not my bag. The original 900 T16, yes. Solid, hewn-from-granite feel, top quality. The later Vauxhall Vectra-based ones don't feel or sound the same.

The burble from the old T16 at idle is awesome, sounds more akin to a flat-four.
