Drivers / Passengers Door Coding

Hi There,

Was looking over the car last night and looked at 42 (drivers door electric) and 52 (passengers door electric)

The coding is 512 for both, which seems odd

The rear doors have a much bigger figure. Also in the extended lights MMI menu, Highway has an led door arc pretty feature which doesn't show up on the front, so I'm thinking it's wrong

Anyone know what their coding is

+0000128 = Electrical Side Shades installed (PR-3Y8)
+0000256 = Safe Function enabled (PR-A8S)
+0000512 = Folding Mirror installed (PR-6XE/6XF/6XK/6XL/6XS)
+0001024 = Automatic Dimming Mirror installed (PR-6XJ/6XK/6XL/6XM/6XS)
+0002048 = Pinch Protection active
+0004096 = Closing Assistance (PR-GZ2)
+0008192 = Seat Memory Driver installed (PR-3PN)
+0016384 = Seat Memory Passenger installed (PR-3PN)
+0032768 = Child Safety Lock disabled with Door Open

Note: Coding is the sum of the individual options.

From That list i'd say i've got most the options!

All 4 doors are the same coding for me.

Hi there,

Got errors with that coding delboy. Guessing you have softclose on the doors and I don't.

Rears are 0028462

Which it accepted and doesn't seem to error. I now have door led strips in the front doors on the Highway Ambient lights which look cool! I also think that the one touch windows act differently and more to what I expected them to. Can open and close all the way up and down! I also wonder if the wing mirror lights are now working or I just hadn't noticed them before!

Certainly better. No idea why they were 512 as that just seems wrong!

Yes I do have soft close, on 3 of them anyway 😜

I have a new latch to fit but been laid up with the flu this week, a few more days wont make a difference.

Am guessing the pinch thing is to do with the soft close function. Not sure about the other one!

I think the other one is to automatically close Windows and sun roof if you turn on the re-circulate air function (otherwise there would be no point in using the function!)
