Cool? Below freezing, more like it.

I've owned two examples - a 1980 Mars Red 10V, one of the first RHD cars in the UK, and a 1991 Panther Black 20V LHD. Great cars. Sold the 10V here, the RR ended up in the US. Still in Boulder, my cousin loves her almost as much as I did.

Very cool, but my favourite has to be the sport quattro, and Amanda, you have three of these. Where is the other one?

Absolutely fantastic

The 'UR' Quattro has been my favourite car since the Group 'B' rally days.

If I had the time, money and space for a second car it would be a 20v Quattro.

They get cooler by the minute.

The pic's the dogs dangly bits. Nice one

This is the complete opposite to 95% of brand new Audis for sale today, which means it is mega mega cool.

I would love to know more info regarding your 1980 quattro. A very good friend of mine earlier this year tracked down and bought HYL 4W, the Saturn Bronze car which was the first official imported car into the UK by VAG in December 1980. It was featured in CAR magazine in April 1981. He also has a Diamond Silver W Plate 1981 quattro, a Mars Red A Plate 1983 analogue dash quattro, a Montego Black Y Plate alluminium engine quattro, an Alpine White A Plate 1984 digi dash quattro, a Tornado Red E Plate late WR quattro, a Pearl G Plate 1990 MB quattro, a Lhasa Green 1986 D Plate Coupe quattro and is due a 20V RR quattro shortly. Obviously he is a bit of a quattro fan.

^^^ Ken, my 1980 Mars Red 10V was on a W plate, analogue dash, cable differential. It also had the later 8"x15" Ronals, though the seller was good enough to retain the original 6"x15" wheels.
