here's pic's ben, it's made by pierburg, from kolbenschmidt pierburg who make the long block assembly's for the a8/s8, i have been researching them for engine block and piston info, was thinking of rebuilding my s8 with rs6 9.5cr pistons and rods as bore/stroke and crankshaft are the same (except for 10 bolt flange on flywheel end of rs6) and would work well with supercharger's that are out now in the states, what do you think? maybe will start a thread for it as i have been gathering online info for years. i know mike, tony and matt are interested. this all, is of course when the A8OC syndicate wins the lottery, by the way the intake arms can be bought here, http://artisans.homeunix.com:443/ for $50, john

Thanks R8 Dream, just in the nick of time. I was on the phone to Audi with my debit card in my hand about to hand over £140 for one whilst looking through this thread, saw it just in the nick of time and hung up.

Just e-mailed the owner of that site, Richard to confirm stock. They do have them in and it cost me £34.00 including delivery for the new arm to the UK, will update thread on quality and fitment when it comes.

Ah.. The old security thingy problem

Was it your web browser or antivirus (assuming you have some) that reported the error?

Er, not sure, hang on I shall try it again and see....

Seems to be working now..... I will try the manifold pics, although they're about the same as the others posted, but atleast me "security pass thingy" is seemingly working!

You can tell by my use of technical computer terminology that I am........well.......FECKIN USELESS!! I do cars not computers!! I am good at wrecking my own computer, which could be classed as a skill, some peolple spend years developing viruses, I can knacker my lap top in 15mins!!! Skill!!

Fitted the new arm, haven't took it for a drive yet though as I lost two arms (Comes ask a pack of four) to the undertray! It does work though as the old arm used to come away when I started the engine, the new ones do not. Hopefully they will last longer being metal and not plastic. I Need to take the undertray off and recover them now. So if anyone needs a new arm, just let me know and I will pop it one in the post for you
