Should I drive on 1 x 19" wheel and 3 x 20" wheels?

Hi,

I need to drop one of my 20" alloy wheels off to be refurbished but the spare I have is a 19"...

Perhaps it's a stupid question, I don't know, but am I OK to drive the car with 1 x 19" wheel and 3 x 20" wheels?

It would only be for a couple of days until the 20" alloy is ready.

Go to willtheyfit.com and enter the relative wheel and tyre widths and specs and if there's a less than 2% variation you should be ok. It would be an MOT fail, if presented like that, but is not illegal as such. It could be classed as a temporary use spare which is not defined in UK law. If you had a loss of control accident you can expect insurers to take a closer look at whether it contributed

As Adrin says it's the trye size thats the key here not the rim size. Rolling raidus needs to be as close as you can get.

Just remember that you are on odd wheels and drive carefully.
