Upgrade: S8 bumper

Guys, as the Annual Meet approaches slowly, the list of ideas to grab that Best D3 trophy after coming second last year (I'm not competitive at all ) is just developing on day to day basis.
Just picked up the car from the bodyshop after a rear bumper respray and I'll be dropping it off in a week for more respray, front is next.
After picking the car up I stopped at Audi to order some JPT terminal connectors for retrofits. For the first time I've been served by a really nice, positive and enthusiastic guy from parts. This good feeling transferred very quickly onto me and I added 2+2 - front respray....new S8 bumper to complete the front.
Very friendly Richie offered me one with trade discount for £570 inc. VAT so I hope you see my point.

I haven't done much research yet or looked at ETKA, but is a PF S8 bumper (round fogs) a straight swap on a PF D3????
Things like headlights washers, fogs with grills?????

I would appreciate any help because now I have to dash to a meeting with a planning officer, but I will be back later on.

I too have been painting front and back bumpers, off to collect the wheels from powdercoaters

It's not like I've got a euro pallet of cash in the garage, but it got me thinking, I always wanted S8 front, no S8 badges of course, and I'm missing half of it, the bumper.
If I decide to do it in about 6months I would have to spray front again, waste of money, so thinking to do it properly. Plus I've been so busy for the past 6months and still am so I'm trying to take my mind off work a little.

I have no pictures on standard bumper from the inside, so may just look in ETKA and compare fogs with grills and other bits from the bumper on a standard A8 vs. S8 from the same year.

I know that on Diesels they don't fit properly at the bottom passenger side because of the intercooler hoses or something like that.
I remember Ollie's S8 replica had fog grilles screwed from the outside around the edge, need to find out why, was it because of a FL bumper but PF fogs with grills??

I believe he had the face lift fogs and grills but unsure about the bumper, I can't see Audi changing the bumper for such a small difference but etka should conform that easy enough

If it helps at all, here are a couple pics of my D3's bumper which you mention. I do indeed remember the foglight surround being screwed on the outside, not inside.

This is my another problem, round or square fogs, never liked the square ones, but now I'm considering them, still prefer round one I think.
Keeping round ones will reduce the cost coz I'll be able to use mine, but now I know that definitely I will need fog lights grills.

That is a bit too much, £1200 plus shipping. I have the S8 grill so really need the bumper and fogs grills. ETKA says that some cars need wing trimming, all I know for a fact that its a bit of a pain to fit S8 bumper on Diesel cars because of intercooler hoses, and also there is an issue by the wing, maybe that ETKA note relates to diesel cars only.

Aiming for same year S8 conversion seems to be the safest.

I spray my car always with one guy who does all the Mercedes warranty and accident repairs and re-sprays in the area. I know for a fact that may colour is a bi ch and I heard that from 3 different bodyshops.
This time I paid £140 with blending it to side panels.
