Top Tip D3 S8 PAS Top up
If you ask a dealer to top up your power steering fluid, like I did today. Tell them to access it by removing the N/S air box etc.
Otherwise they might follow the Audi recommendation of removing the headlight to get to it. To remove the head light they have to first remove the front bumper. That lot'l cost you 1.5 hours labour. The airbox route is a lot quicker

I could spend an hour looking for the parts diagrams, posts about this, owner's manual, etc.; or...
I could just ask "Are you kidding? The PS fluid fill is BEHIND a HEADLIGHT?" Also, what's "N/S" as in "N/S air box" please? Thanks, Tom

The same goes for the W12 and the V8 diesels, they all have the same PAS reservoir which is indeed (ridiculously!) situated just behind the bottom back edge of the nearside headlight.
