How much would you want to program it out if I gutted the DPF??? I think it's gone beyond regeneration, it's not even driveable.

£1116.00 is not a very appealing price for a new one
North Yorkshire area...... Or remove the ECU and send it upto me if you wish? Very easy to remove.

A remap wouldn't go a miss whilst it is on the bench either....!

Send me some costs over sweetie and a timescale of how long it would take. This sounds right up my street! Its one of the most asked for of the chauffeur cars so dependant on how long it takes is the key (it's the silver one with the S8 bumper in my sig)

If I knew where the ECU was I'm sure I could get to it pmsl!!!

Only thing is I have no money until Barclays pay me-the buggers are sitting on an invoice

Good luck. I just had mine hollowed out on my 3.0 TDi and highly recommend it instead of investing in a new one as they are nothing but a liability.

Long story but I only the bought the car 5 weeks ago and after buying it the car became more sluggish and the turbo then blew it's housing's gas seal and whistled. Audi wanted £1,700 for a new one, but I got a new turbo for £780 and a local garage fitted and changed the oil etc.. for £450ish. but they couldn't make it go over 10mph, so towed it to Audi and they said the DPF was blocked and that the ECU had been flashed to remove any DPF related stuff, hence no error. They also found the big pre-cat near the bulkhead had been hollowed.
Maybe someone mistook it for the DPF and hollowed the cat and flashed the ECU. Audi wanted £2,280 for a new pre-cat and DPF!

The DPF itself is a sort of double unit the first third is a small catalyst and the rest 2/3 is the DPF.

The hollowing was done off the car for £117 by a small local garage including a tow from the Audi dealer.

The car goes better than it ever has and mpg is 10% higher for me and with piece of mind of not having this stupid DPF.

Ooh god if only!!!

Poxy thing is STILL running like a bag of ****!, DPF has been removed from the ECU, the DPF has been hollowed out and the frigging thing isn't really any better. It is slightly better, I am worried that it's buggered the turbo now!

What are the symptoms/warning lights for the turbo failing??? I have glow plug flashing and orange engine light again

It will "drive" but it struggles from 2k, has no power up hills and jerks all over the place

Does sound suspiciously turbo-related

Apparently so hun, I am going back tomorrow to have it out with them lol

I have said they need to check they have done it properly and give me a fault code readout.

Hopefully I will have a little more to go on. I'm Not sure whether they are using VCDS or not???

I hope it's not injector related.... turbo is cheaper!

Glow plug light is flashing, points towards injection system issues. Engine light backs it up too you see Get a full scan of the car.

Injectors chances are it will be 1 or two. And you can pick them up for around £150-180 new, or used full sets for £150.
