Default Audi Fixed Price Servicing

Now in this strange world we all know that for many jobs an Audi dealer is not the best place for our D2s.

Many things you would take to a specialist or rely on the experts in our field.

But I notice that Audi do fixed price servicing and looking at the T&Cs this does include D2 S8s.

https://www.audi.co.uk/content/audi/...-services.html

Its always nice to have an Audi stamp in the book and for a oil change and basic stuff their prices do not seem to bad.

They wouldn't service my s8 on that deal and tried a bill at 900 to begin with but negotiated to just below 800

Yeah I notice they specifically exclude the D3 S8 in the T&Cs but not the D2.

They only used to cover up to 2 litres, the over 2 litres is a recent change I think.

I see your point about the stamp but I just did oil/oil filter/air filter for under £65 and just ordered 2x pollen filter for around £12. It only took less than an hour. So I guess its what value you put on your time and the stamp in the book. I keep the receipts and complete a spreadsheet and the book myself.... and have an honest face.

LoL at Marcin
they aren't all bad...
but I wouldn't take my car to the dealer for anything major
one Audi dealer that did a cam belt change on my previous S8 used paint on the sprockets instead of the cam locking tool. Just couldn't be bothered I guess.
Also I had to argue with my local one to align the 18" wheels on my car, which are made by Audi, but because they did not come with the car they kept trying to say they could not guarante the alignment.

Our S5 will be covered by this - £299 for 2 years for 2 litre and under and £399 for over IIRC. Anything other than engines bigger than 6 litre were supposed to covered, excl all RS models and the R8

Hope they haven't done away with it as can't see a mention of it at that link!

…and you don't fleece yourself with a whopping great margin on parts (e.g. oil)..
