Default Cruse control

Just noticed that if the car is going down hill on cruse control it puts the brake on and the brake lights aswell how cool is that

Is that on a d2? And how on earth did you find out?

Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

The D3 with ACC does, not sure the D2 or D3 with standard cruise can as they lack the correct ABS controller.

My D3 does, i first noticed it at night with the brake lights shining on a hill descent.

My recent trip to scotland further confirmed it as I was testing it by holding stalk down to drop set speed of 60 to 30 for approaches to towns and it definitely brakes the car.

No ACC on mine either sadly

My D2 didn't do this, but my D3 does. And you can tell, because you can sometimes feel the brakes going on and failing that, you can see the rear screen brake light illuminating the rear screen.
I think it applies to cars with a readout of the cruise speed setting, which is another cool and very useful thing
