Default LHD FL black front door switch cover

I came across this black front door switch and I would like to know if these were available for FL LHD cars?

Part numbers starting with 4D2 are for RHD cars and 4D0 are for LHD. Then tthere is a difference of 1 in the last digit between right and left side. So you are looking for 4D0959517

The image on the advert doesn't look right to me.
It states a 2001 car but I always thought that 2001/facelift cars had the one-piece trim with the integrated grab handle.
The image I can see on that advert shows the front of a 2-piece trim.
Happy to be corrected and educated on that.

Anyway, there's this SOUL LHD FL part in Tradition with typically poor Tradition images:
https://shops.audi.com/en_GB/web/tra...4D1959521AE7PE

And you can see it in more detail here:
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...d1959521ae7pe/

I've not checked ETKA for suitability etc. So you could do that research yourself.

As Dean says, this is confusing. Checking ETKA and it's even more confusing. The attached image is the driver's side switches and covers all years, so the image doesn't even show the grab handle. Based on the item you linked to, the corresponding LHD version is part number 4D1959521AB 7PE (soul/black). Searching for 4D1959521 will bring up all LHD versions, but you have have difficulty finding a black one.

BTW The part number 4D2959518 doesn't return anything in ETKA, but interestingly, I came across another eBay listing that shows a 1-part piece of trim (that Dean mentions). If you check the images, you'll notice both numbers 4D2959518 and 4D2959522 (on either side of the grab handle). The eBay listing is as follows:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/194403444626

Can you confirm if the one you linked to is what you're after, or is it more like the one I linked to?

Thanks but as far as I know Audi Tradition does not ship to America.

I'm in need of both the driver side and passenger side front window switch cover as my car had the front ones painted black and the rear ones are the OEM (I have not confirmed if they are or not) black ones. I hate how they don't match and is the reason why I'm looking for both the black LHD front window switch covers.

My front switch covers. Hard to tell in these pictures both of these front covers are painted glossy black.

My rear switch covers.

Those (rear) look like the type that have (at least here in the UK) a rather soft thick paint that is prone to getting damaged.
Many of us replace them with the wood veneer type which are much more robust.

Your front ones were probably painted to cover up surface marks.

Why not try to find a suitable semi-matt paint to make them look as you want?

Or cover all 4 with something to match the carbon-look door trims?

1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

I'm guessing the rear ones are probably from Europe as the last owner of my car bought aftermarket carbon fiber door trims and wasn't able to find the matching front ones and probably the reason why they were painted.

I have thought about covering all the switch covers to a carbon fiber wrap but not sure if it will match the door trims. I have terrible OCD. I'll probably just paint all four of them with semi matte paint like you mentioned.
