Front LED indicator bulbs

I have recently purchase a 2004 D3 W12 but car is not delivered yet. Still on the way. On ETKA i see the following code:

"8EV Bi-functional headlight w/ gas dischargelamp, fixed bending
light, LED daytime running lights, for driving on the right"

Can you guys confirm this is same headlight like S8 with white LED as DRL?

Pretty sure they are... But not 100% sure if the early W12s had yellow ones.

What is the question? AFAIK the DRL will be the inner half of the lamp made up of five side-emitter SMDs in a cloverleaf pattern. Not a strip like the S6 from the same era.

It is confirmed, All W12 and S8 D3 models comes with DRL in white LED lights.

yes they do . all W12 or S8 have the DRL lights and also became standard on the D3 after the facelift in 2007/2008 i think
