I got a 'dual cover' with Admiral for my car and the wife's (a mini), fully comp and business use for around £300 I think - I'll check. But I'm pretty ancient too!

£480 with Sky Insurance, Legal included and wife as a name driver too.

12 years NCD & protected, no points (yet), valued at £20K (good luck), 40 years of age

£234 for mine but thats having just dropped business use (i am now retired) and brought the mileage down to <6k p.a. The 6 penalty points are a bugger tho' as I could probably get below £200 but for that.

£400 ish for the D2 S8 with Sky Insurance - full protected NCB, 40K business use, on a modified policy that can handle wheels, suspension etc. Thats a second policy too as my daily is an A4 TDI. Sky will duplicate the bonus to another car on the basis you can't drive both at once - very cool I'd definitely recommend them.

Now that's good to know as I need to find someone to insure the track TT (not for the track insurance, but for the bit where I have to drive her to the track)

I recommend Sky too, found them very accommodating so far. £430 fully comp for a Left hand drive D2 S8 with minor mods (alloys and lambda de-code).

Some quotes from the big insurers I had for a LHD car were laughable.
