The time is 21:36 and Jordan and I are home safe.
Another fantastical day out.
Thank you Mark for organising.
Thank you Lynn for letting him have the time to fulfill the duties.
Thank you all for attending and making Jordan and myself feel so welcome.
God bless you all.

Special Birthday wishes to the young lady we sang to in the car park.

Some photos attached from yesterday's meet. Brilliant venue and a thoroughly enjoyable day. Good to see some familiar faces again and the get a peek at Nick's new S8. Thanks, mark, for taking the time to sort this out.

Really glad everyone enjoyed the venue It was great to see you all

I hadn't been to Critch before yesterday but I thought it seemed like a good place to meet. I'd certainly go back there. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and appeared to be quite thorough with their COVID procedures and cleanliness. It's a very 'car-club friendly' place too, so possibly one to bookmark for a future (and larger) meet someday?

And it was great to finally get a little meet in before the end of the summer (you can thank Stephen for the nudge and suggestion to organise a mini-meet), especially considering that the next meet might not be until next year now.

Oh, and what glorious weather!

By the way Stephen, did you spot the dual-motor Tesla prototype in the Great Exhibition Hall?

What a thoroughly enjoyable day. Great compatriots, great cars and to top it all perfect location in perfect weather. Thank you Mark and the birthday girl for all your efforts.
Topped off with a drive home in the dark (a chance to experience those Matrix headlights). Steve, how did you manage with those candles in yours? Looked like your alternator was not doing its thing?

arrived home last night after an almost 700 mile round journey, 18 year old S8 never missed a beat, really enjoyed the trip, we stayed down for another day and enjoyed the stunning Derbyshire weather, local beer and food. Just great to get out again, with the added bonus of meeting with friends old and new...oh and Nick's S8+ is simply stunning
